About This Access Site
**Overview:** This is a primitive access point on the west shore of Norway Lake near Pennock in Kandiyohi County. Norway Lake is a substantial 2,339-acre lake with a maximum depth of 33 feet, offering good paddling and boating opportunities for those seeking a larger water body.

**What to Know:** There is **no designated boat ramp** at this site, making it best suited for kayaks, canoes, and hand-launched boats rather than larger motorcraft. There is no designated parking area, and amenities including restrooms and potable water are not available. To reach the site, take Forest Route 388 for 4.4 miles from the main road. If you're looking for a traditional boat launch for larger vessels, check the other public access point on Norway Lake's main basin (south shore, one mile north of County Road 40) or the main lake access point (south shore of West Norway Lake, one mile east of County Road 1).
