About This Access Site
Oak Park Day Use Area provides a well-maintained boat launch on the northeastern shore of Navarro Mills Lake near Corsicana, Texas. The facility features a four-lane concrete boat ramp that is well-protected from wind, making it a reliable access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A $5.00 boat launch permit or valid annual pass is required to launch. The ramp is open 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., with vault restrooms available near the parking area. Parking accommodates approximately 20 vehicles, though capacity may vary seasonally.

The access site is located off FM 667, about 1.5 miles north of State Highway 31 (take the highway from either Waco or Corsicana). In addition to the boat ramp, Oak Park offers a fishing pier, picnic facilities, and a swimming beach, making it a versatile day-use destination. The lake is known for excellent fishing opportunities, including the state record white crappie. The facility operates seasonally from April through September, so plan accordingly if visiting outside these months.

Visitors might stumble across squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, bobcars, white-tailed deer, raccoon or armadillo. Birding is a favorite year- round pastime for lake guests. Many species of songbirds, hawks, great blue heron, ducks, geese, other shorebirds and even an occasional bald eagle visit the area.
