Oaklane Drive

**Overview:** Oaklane Drive provides boat access to Lows Creek on the Texas side of Toledo Bend Reservoir near Hemphill. This is a two-lane ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats accessing the northern portions of the 185,000-acre reservoir.

**Important Considerations:** This ramp has significant water-level limitations and is **not usable during low water periods**. Before visiting, check current reservoir levels with the Sabine River Authority of Texas, as water conditions directly affect launch viability. The ramp's accessibility varies seasonally, making it less reliable than year-round alternatives like Haley's Ferry. Plan your visit accordingly and have a backup ramp location in mind during drought conditions.
