About This Access Site
Obexer's Boat Company offers public boat ramp access to Lake Tahoe, a renowned alpine lake straddling the California-Nevada border. This family-owned marina has been operating since 1948 and provides a range of services for paddlers, boaters, and other recreational users.

The boat ramp is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Launching fees are $25 for a one-way trip and $40 for a round-trip launch on the same day. Obexer's also offers slip and buoy rentals, summer and winter storage, and on-site boat repair services. Boaters should be aware that the ramp, gas dock, and other marina operations will be closed on certain days for staff events.

Nearby campgrounds and recreation areas managed by the U.S. Forest Service provide additional opportunities for exploring Lake Tahoe's natural beauty. Paddlers and small boaters should always check current conditions and follow all safety guidelines when recreating on this large, scenic mountain lake.
