About This Access Site
Located on the north shore of 176-acre Ocean Pond near Olustee, Florida, this concrete boat ramp provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and small to medium-sized boats. The ramp is approximately 16 feet wide and well-suited for launching paddlecraft and fishing boats. The facility is part of Ocean Pond Campground, a 64-site lakeside campground situated along the Florida National Scenic Trail in Baker County.

The campground offers both reservable and first-come, first-served campsites available through Recreation.gov, making it an excellent base for a paddling trip or fishing adventure. Note that online reservations and payments are made exclusively through Recreation.gov (cash is not accepted). The facility includes a picnic pavilion with grills, beach area for swimming, and amenities for day-use visitors. Ocean Pond supports fishing for speckled perch and largemouth bass, and a Florida fishing license is required.

**Directions:** From Lake City, take US Highway 90 east for 14 miles, then turn north on CR 250/FR 266 for 4 miles. Turn left onto FR 268 and follow it 1.1 miles to the campground entrance. For more information or reservations, call 386-752-2577.
