Odessa City Lake

Odessa City Lake is a 90-acre public access point in Lafayette County, Missouri, offering a concrete boat ramp suitable for small to medium-sized watercraft. The facility features an 18-foot-wide ramp with docking capabilities, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. A city boating permit ($8.00/year) is required and can be obtained at Odessa City Hall.

The access site includes amenities such as a pavilion, picnic areas, and a privy facility. To reach the ramp, take Highway 131 south from Odessa, then Route OO west for approximately 3 miles, and continue east on Odessa Lake Road. The lake accommodates motorized vessels with a maximum of 40 horsepower, making it ideal for quieter paddle sports as well as small recreational boats.
