About This Access Site
The Odom Creek boat ramp provides access to the Chattahoochee River in Early County, Georgia. This section of the Chattahoochee is a medium-sized river with steady flows and a moderate gradient, making it well-suited for kayaking, canoeing, and small motorized boats. The ramp is located off Old River Road near the town of Blakely.

This access point is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and offers a paved boat launch and parking. It's one of several public access sites along this stretch of the Chattahoochee, with other ramps available at Jones Bridge, Bowmans Island, Medlock Bridge, and Abbotts Bridge. The nearby George W. Andrews Lake also offers additional boating and fishing opportunities. Paddlers and boaters should use caution and be prepared for typical river conditions when launching from Odom Creek.
