**Location & Access:** Old White Bridge is located in Montesano on the Wynoochee River in Grays Harbor County. This popular access point has historically been a favored launch site for steelhead anglers and recreational boaters exploring the Wynoochee River.
**Current Status & Conditions:** Please note that the boat ramp at this access area is currently **closed due to damage**. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is working on redevelopment plans for the facility. While the ramp is unavailable, public vehicular access to the river for recreational fishing and boating remains permitted. Before visiting, contact local WDFW offices for the latest repair timeline and status updates.
**Nearby Alternatives:** If Old White Bridge is inaccessible during your visit, consider nearby access points on the Wynoochee River such as Sterling Landing (an undeveloped area with gravel ramp access suitable for put-ins and take-outs) or Black Creek Boat Launch further downstream, which features a concrete ramp. The Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge is also located nearby for those interested in viewing wildlife habitat in the region.
