About This Access Site
Located just north of the dam on the lake's southwest corner near Scranton in Osage County, this is the only boat ramp providing access to Osage State Fishing Lake. The 140-acre lake sits in a scenic valley with a maximum depth of 35 feet and is typically at full pool. This access point serves paddlers, anglers, and recreational boaters looking to explore the small, protected water body.

The lake features riparian woodland and upland habitat around its shoreline, making it suitable for kayaking and canoeing in calm conditions. Fourteen fishing piers (ten on the west side and four on the east) are distributed around the lake, offering alternative access points and scenic spots. Given the lake's modest size and sheltered setting, this location works well for recreational paddling, wildlife viewing, and fishing, though paddlers should verify current conditions and water levels before launching.
