About This Access Site
Ottawa Lake is a 17-acre lake in North Prairie, Waukesha County, offering a public boat ramp for convenient water access. The concrete ramp is approximately 20 feet wide, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational boats. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 16 feet, providing adequate water for most paddling and boating activities throughout the year.

This access point is ideal for fishing and recreational paddling, with the lake supporting populations of panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Paddlers should note that Ottawa Lake contains the invasive rusty crayfish species. The site includes parking and a public beach area in addition to the boat ramp, making it a well-developed access point for day trips and recreational outings.
