**Location & Access:** The Otter Lake Dam boat ramp is located on the north side of Palmyra Road in Tapiola, providing a single-lane launch for paddlers and boaters accessing Otter Lake on the Otter River in Michigan's Houghton County. **Lake Conditions & Regulations:** Otter Lake is designated as an all-sports lake with a 115 hp motor size limit. The lake maintains a no-wake zone from 7:30 pm to 11:00 am, making early morning and evening ideal times for peaceful kayaking and fishing. The lake features a clean, sandy beach area and is known as a quieter paddling destination where you can expect calmer conditions during restricted hours.
