About This Access Site
The Owen Lake boat ramp is located at Two Lakes Campground near Drummond, Wisconsin, providing access to this 1,250-acre lake in the Chequamegon National Forest. The ramp has no dock facility. A $5 daily launch fee applies (free with campground reservations), and day-use access to the facility is available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $5. The ramp is conveniently accessible from the Medicine Bow Rail Trail for those interested in multimodal recreation.

Lake Owen offers excellent fishing opportunities with panfish, northern pike, walleye, bass, and trout species present in its clear waters. The lake has a maximum depth of 95 feet and supports various water activities including paddling and power boating. Two Lakes Campground provides additional amenities including two swimming beaches and a fishing pier, making it a good base for extended water recreation outings.

For directions, follow Forest Road 213 southeast from Drummond to its intersection with Forest Road 216, then continue east on Road 213 for 2 miles. National Scenic Trail.Facilities
The campground has drinking water, vault toilets and a dump station for RVs. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and grill.Natural Features
Two Lakes is adjacent to the Porcupine Lake Wilderness in
Chequamegon National Forest. The forest covers more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

Some of the Porcupine Lake Wilderness contains rolling hills covered with oak, maple, hemlock and white pine. The remainder of the area is fairly flat.
