About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Collier Cove boat ramp is located in Pace Bend Park, approximately 30 miles west of Austin on Lake Travis. From Austin, take Texas 71 west to Ranch Road 2322 (Pace Bend Park Road), turn right and travel 4.6 miles to the park entrance, then follow 2322 to the ramp. The site is operated by the Lower Colorado River Authority.

**Facilities & Conditions:** The ramp features a single-lane concrete launch, parking area, restrooms, and picnic facilities. Lake Travis at this location offers a wide, stable paddling environment suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. When water levels are normal, the cove provides protected paddling. Note that debris may be present depending on recent water conditions—check current status with LCRA at 1-800-776-5272 x3366 before your trip, as water levels and ramp accessibility can vary seasonally.

**Recreation Opportunities:** Beyond paddling, the area provides access to the scenic Edwards Plateau region and proximity to the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, which features rugged terrain and excellent habitat for birdwatching. The park setting makes it ideal for a half or full day of paddling, picnicking, or camping.
