Paint Creek Recreation Area - Colorado River Municipal Water District

Paint Creek Recreation Area offers a well-maintained two-lane concrete boat ramp with dock access on the west side of E.V. Spence Reservoir, located off Paint Creek Marina Road. This mid-lake launch point provides good access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The facility includes gravel parking and is part of the Colorado River Municipal Water District's recreation infrastructure. A day-use entrance fee applies ($5 per vehicle), with annual passes available.

E.V. Spence Reservoir is a large impoundment on the Colorado River west of Robert Lee in Coke County, offering protected water suitable for paddling and boating.
