About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Palm Valley Public Landing is a St. Johns County public boat ramp located on the Tolomato River at Ponte Vedra Beach, positioned at the confluence of the Tolomato and Matanzas Rivers. This site offers convenient access to the Intracoastal Waterway and is approximately 3/4 mile from St. Augustine Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean, making it an ideal launch point for paddlers and boaters exploring coastal waters or planning offshore trips.

**Facilities:** The ramp features a single lane with a floating dock section for easy launching and landing. Amenities include courtesy docks, parking for approximately 30 boat trailers, and portable restrooms. This is a free public facility maintained by St. Johns County. For additional information or to arrange special event permits, contact St. Johns County Parks at (904) 209-0328.

**Best For:** Kayakers and canoeists will find this location particularly useful for accessing tidal saltwater systems and exploring the river corridors leading to the inlet. The proximity to open ocean makes it suitable for both inshore and offshore adventures, though paddlers should be prepared for tidal currents and saltwater conditions.
