About This Access Site
Panther Lake is a 60-acre freshwater lake located in Belfair, Mason County, offering year-round public access via a concrete boat ramp. The 12-foot-wide ramp is suitable for launching small to medium-sized boats, kayaks, and canoes. A Discover Pass is required for access. The site includes one parking lot, though amenities are limited—there are no restrooms, ADA facilities, or fishing platforms at the launch area.

Panther Lake is known as a productive fishing destination, particularly for rainbow trout, making it a popular spot for anglers as well as recreational paddlers. The lake's compact size makes it ideal for kayaking and canoeing, with manageable conditions for paddlers of various skill levels. Plan accordingly for the lack of onsite facilities—bring water and supplies as needed before arriving at the ramp.
