Paradise Lake's Michigan DNR access site on the west shore (Paradise Road) offers a well-maintained concrete boat ramp with a loading dock, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The facility includes ample parking and a vault toilet. Located in Cass County near Vandalia, the ramp provides easy access via U.S. Highway 31 and is approximately 20 minutes from I-75 exit 336.
The lake attracts anglers targeting bass, perch, northern pike, and walleye, along with abundant panfish. Be aware that Paradise Lake, like many northern Michigan lakes, has been affected by invasive Eurasian watermilfoil, which may impact paddling conditions. Weekend and holiday traffic can be moderate, so plan accordingly if visiting during peak times. A second public access point is available on the south side of the larger lake section if the main ramp is crowded.
