About This Access Site
Parkside Marina offers a modern boat ramp and full-service facilities on the Mississippi River just upstream of the Interstate Bridge in Wabasha. This 210-slip marina provides fuel, temporary dockage, repairs, pumpouts, showers, and a ship's store, making it well-suited for boaters planning extended trips. The facility is sheltered from the main river current, providing a protected launching area. For contact information and current services, call (651) 565-3809 or visit parksidemarina.com.

At this location on the upper Mississippi River, expect a major waterway with significant flow—the Mississippi averages nearly 685,000 cubic feet per second at this point in its 1,840-mile journey. With an average velocity of 11+ feet per second and a gentle gradient of 0.8 ft/mile, paddlers and boaters should be prepared for steady current. The river's size and flow make this an ideal access point for exploring both upstream and downstream sections, with excellent fishing opportunities for walleye, catfish, and other species. Ike's Park nearby also offers a public paved ramp with dockage options.
