About This Access Site
Pawnee Point is a public boat ramp located in the northeast corner of Lake Arrowhead near Henrietta, Texas. The two-lane concrete ramp provides access for kayakers, canoeists, and small to medium-sized motorboats. To reach the site, take Pawnee Trail from the main lake area or access via FM 1954 near the state park entrance, turning onto West Arrowhead Road and following Boat Ramp Road to the ramp's end. The facility includes basic amenities, though the primary infrastructure is the launch ramp itself.

Lake Arrowhead offers a broader water body than the Little Wichita River's typical narrow, meandering character upstream. This access point is ideal for paddlers seeking calmer, lake-style paddling rather than river navigation. For those interested in camping or additional facilities, Lake Arrowhead State Park is nearby with nine boat ramps, fishing piers, and full park amenities. Paddlers should be aware that a fishing license is required if fishing from a boat in Texas waters.
