About This Access Site
Pawtuckaway Lake's boat ramp at Fundy Cove provides excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. Located within Pawtuckaway State Park at 40 Pawtuckaway Road, the ramp is situated on a scenic 803-acre lake known for its protected coves, islands, and interesting geology. Non-motorized paddlers will find plenty to explore, including numerous coves and islands that are off-limits to power boats. Be aware that glacial erratic boulders are scattered across the lake bottom, creating hazards for propeller-driven boats in some areas.

The access site is well-developed with convenient amenities including running water, flush toilets, a camp store, and 24-hour coin-operated showers. Canoe and kayak rentals are available on-site for those without their own equipment. The 195-site campground operates by reservation only. The park also features a family beach and an extensive trail system, making it an attractive destination for a full day of recreation. From I-93, take Route 101 east to Exit 5 and follow signs to Pawtuckaway State Park. For more information, call 603-895-3031.
