Pearrygin Lake State Park

Pearrygin Lake State Park near Winthrop offers a convenient gravel boat ramp with 60 feet of dock space, making it an accessible launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The watercraft launch is located at the East Campground and opens the first Friday in April, weather permitting—be sure to check conditions as ice and snow can delay opening. The park features modern facilities including restrooms with hot showers, day-use areas with bathhouses, and picnic tables throughout.

Keep in mind that the park's internal roads are narrow and tight, so plan accordingly when navigating to the boat launch area. The park recommends using a smaller vehicle or bicycle to move around the park grounds. No ORV use is permitted within the park itself. With its proximity to the charming town of Winthrop and popularity as a camping destination, expect the park to be busy, especially on weekends during the summer season.
