Peavy Lake

Peavy Lake is a 140-acre lake located in Morrison County near Hillman, Minnesota, offering public boat access via a Minnesota DNR-owned concrete ramp on the east shore. The lake features a maximum depth of 63 feet and 2.71 miles of shoreline, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. The ramp can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, with no launch fees required at this access point.

Before launching, be aware that Peavy Lake has a "C" water quality rating and contains invasive species including Eurasian watermilfoil and zebra mussels. Water clarity may be reduced earlier in the season due to occasional algae blooms, and zebra mussels can attach to boat hulls and equipment.
