This boat ramp provides access to the Pecos River in the Iraan area of West Texas. The launch is located on the south side of the river near Highway 90, approximately 40 miles west of Del Rio. To reach the ramp, take a left just before the Highway 90 high bridge crossing the Pecos and follow the road to the parking lot, then walk down to the boat launch area.
The Pecos River in this region is suitable for motorized and non-motorized recreation, including kayaking and canoeing. This section of the river flows through scenic canyon terrain as it approaches Amistad Reservoir.
