About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Located on the east side of Pelican Lake at the intersection of Highway 45 and Manitowic Street in Oneida County, this public boat ramp provides accessible pull-in/pull-through parking and amenities including picnic shelters and tables. Note that the route from parking to the boarding dock is not ADA accessible.

**Lake Conditions & Recreation:** Pelican Lake is a substantial 3,545-acre lake with a maximum depth of 39 feet, offering plenty of water for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. A no-wake zone is in effect at the launch area, and the ramp is noted as steep, so plan your entry accordingly. The lake supports diverse fish species including musky, northern pike, walleye, bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers of all types.

**Practical Notes:** A modest launch fee applies (historically $2). This site is one of several public access points on Pelican Lake, so paddlers can explore alternative launches depending on wind conditions and desired paddling destinations. Check current wind conditions before launching to plan your route safely on this large lake.
