Pelican Lake (Northwest)

Located in Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing County, the Pelican Lake Northwest access provides public boat launch facilities for paddlers and boaters exploring this scenic Minnesota lake. To reach the site, head north on County Road 11 and turn right onto North Drive, following signs to the public access area. The launch features a well-maintained boat ramp and ample free parking, with accessible pull-in parking areas available for visitors with mobility needs.

This access point serves as a gateway to Pelican Lake's recreational opportunities and nearby attractions including the Mississippi River Headwaters areas at Cross Lake and Gull Lake. Note that swimming is not permitted at this access site. Visitors should contact local recreation authorities or check current conditions before visiting, as access policies and seasonal availability may vary. An alternative launch point, Jones Bay Access, is located nearby on the northwest side of the lake off County Road 4 if this site is unavailable.
