About This Access Site
Peoria Park offers convenient public access to the Willamette River near Shedd, Oregon, with a concrete boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The 3.56-acre park provides approximately 950 feet of river frontage and is located on the southeast side of town at the end of Fischer Lane, off Crystal Lake Drive. The ramp features a steep road leading from the parking area down to the water, so be prepared for the grade when launching and loading your vessel.

This is a popular access point, particularly during summer months when inner tube floaters frequently launch here, so expect potential crowds during peak season. Peoria Park welcomes paddlers traveling the river and offers amenities including picnic areas and one-night camping for river travelers. The location provides good access to the mid-Willamette River corridor and nearby William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge offers additional paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities for those exploring the broader area.
