The Pequea Boat Ramp is a modern, well-maintained concrete launch facility on the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County, PA. Recently rebuilt as part of a $3.1-million improvement project, the ramp can accommodate all types of recreational boats common to the river. The facility features ample gravel parking and includes an interpretive panel with information about the river's physical characteristics and tributaries.
Located approximately 3/4 mile from Pequea Creek Campground, this access point serves as a gateway to the 53-mile Susquehanna River Water Trail – Lower Section, managed by the Susquehanna National Heritage Area. Paddlers and boaters can access both Pequea Creek (a tributary) and the main Susquehanna River from this location. For current conditions and water level updates, contact Holtwood Hydro or the Lower Susquehanna River Hotline before launching.
