About This Access Site
Perch Lake Campground offers a developed boat ramp and dedicated parking area providing convenient access to this 72-acre lake located 10 miles southeast of Sidnaw in Iron County's Ottawa National Forest. The access site features a skid pier and can be reached either through the campground's main entrance or via County Road 410, making it accessible to day-use visitors as well as campers. The lake supports a healthy fishery including trout, panfish, and largemouth bass, and is popular for kayaking and canoeing.

Day-use fees apply from mid-May through mid-October ($5 per vehicle per day, or $30 for an annual pass). Amenities at the adjacent campground include vault toilets and hand pumps for drinking water. For those seeking an extended outing, the campground offers 20 reservable campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs, with many providing lake access. Nearby attractions include the Rainbow Lake Wilderness and North Country National Scenic Trail. This one loop campground provides 20 drive-in campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and motor homes. Each site offers a wood table, fire ring, and parking spur. Two sets of vault toilets, one accessible vault toilet and two hand pumps for drinking water are found within the camping loop. There is a boat ramp and parking area adjacent to the campground.

Perch Lake is ideal for those that want to get out on the water under their own power.
