Pereogeethe Lake Boat Launch provides access to the 58-acre Pereogeethe Lake, located within the Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge in southwest Arkansas. This launch site is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats.
The lake itself is relatively shallow and calm, making it an ideal location for paddling and exploring the refuge's diverse wetland habitats. Anglers will find good opportunities to fish for bass, crappie, and bream from the boat ramp or along the shoreline. Nearby Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge also offers hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and other recreational activities.
Access to the boat ramp is free and open to the public, but visitors should be aware that there are no amenities or services on-site. Paddlers and boaters should come prepared with appropriate safety gear, supplies, and a plan for launching and retrieving their vessels. The closest towns with services are West Crossett, about 14 miles away, and Crossett, around 20 miles from the launch site.
