The Pettaquamscutt Avenue boat ramp provides convenient access to the middle section of the Pettaquamscutt River (also known as Narrow River) in Narragansett. This small cement plank ramp is located just below Lacey Bridge and offers a good launching point for kayakers and canoeists exploring this scenic waterway.
**Parking and Access:** Parking is limited at this site. A few vehicles can park on the shoulder of Wilson Drive near the ramp, or along nearby streets such as Bridgeton Road. Plan accordingly if visiting during peak paddling times. The modest size of the ramp is suitable for hand-launched kayaks and canoes as well as smaller motorboats.
**Nearby Recreation:** The site provides access to paddling routes that connect with nearby natural areas, including the John H. Chafee National Wildlife Refuge and Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, making it an excellent starting point for exploring South County's rich coastal ecosystems and wildlife viewing opportunities.
