Pickerel Lake

**Location & Access:** The Pickerel Lake boat ramp is located on the south side of the lake near Solon Springs in Bayfield County, accessible via Pinewood Drive. This public boat landing provides paved ramp access to Pickerel Lake, which sits within the Nicolet National Forest area.

**Lake Characteristics:** Pickerel Lake is a 581-acre lake with a maximum depth of 17-19 feet, making it suitable for various watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake supports a healthy fishery with panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and muskellunge, making it a popular destination for both paddlers and anglers year-round.

**What to Expect:** This is a straightforward public access point ideal for launching kayaks and canoes onto a medium-sized inland lake.
