About This Access Site
Pickerel Lake Recreation Area offers excellent public access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters in Day County. Located at 12980 446th Avenue in Grenville, the facility features a dedicated boat ramp along with ample amenities including a fish cleaning station, fishing pier, and swimming beach. The recreation area is divided into East and West units, both providing boat launch access, making it convenient for exploring this popular inland lake.

The site is well-developed for a full day or weekend outing, with camping cabins, campgrounds, drinking water, flush toilets, and electrical hookups available. Paddlers will appreciate the designated fishing pier and fish cleaning station, plus picnic areas and fire pits for recreation.
