Pickerel Lake

The Pickerel Lake boat ramp in Green Timbers is a developed, well-established access point managed by the Pickerel Crooked Lake Association. This is a popular motorized launch, so paddlers and canoeists should expect busy conditions, particularly during peak season. The site features a parking lot, pit toilets, and is conveniently located near local services—the Party Shoppe is just a quarter-mile away.

The ramp provides access to Pickerel Lake's main basin on the Pickerel Lake side of the "Black Hole" area. While the launch is suitable for small watercraft including kayaks and canoes, parking can be limited during busy times. The gravel ramp is shallow in places, so paddlers launching smaller craft should be prepared for potential shallow-water conditions at the ramp itself. This access point works well for day trips on Pickerel Lake and makes a good base for exploring the lake's recreational opportunities.
