Pier Lake is a 262-acre public access lake located in Tripoli, offering a public boat landing for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. With a maximum depth of 15 feet, this modest-sized lake provides a manageable paddling environment suitable for recreational use. The lake supports a healthy fishery including panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it an attractive destination for anglers as well as paddlers.
The public boat ramp provides standard access for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats. Given the lake's size and depth, paddlers should expect calm to moderate conditions typical of Northwoods lakes in this region. Before launching, contact local Oneida County authorities or the Wisconsin DNR for current conditions, any seasonal restrictions, and specific details about parking and ramp amenities.
