Located near Kettle Falls in Stevens County, Pierre Lake Campground offers a well-maintained boat ramp suitable for both motorized and non-motorized vessels, making it an excellent access point for kayakers and canoeists. The campground features a dock area that provides good shoreline access for fishing and water activities. The lake is considered very nice for canoeing and kayaking, with a day-use area available for those not camping overnight.
The facility includes typical amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, vault restrooms, and potable water. Camping is available at the site with overnight fees, and pets are permitted. The surrounding area offers scenic foothills and proximity to both Pierre Lake and the nearby Lake Roosevelt/Columbia River system (approximately 1 mile away), providing paddlers with expanded exploration opportunities in the region.
**Note:** Paddlers should be aware of special regulations protecting breeding common loons—lead weights and lead jigs measuring 1.5 inches or less along the longest axis are prohibited.
