Pierz Lake is a 185-acre recreational lake located 2 miles west of Pierz in Morrison County. The access site features a paved boat ramp with trailer parking, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats up to approximately 12-18 feet. A boat dock is also available at this location. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required.
The lake supports a diverse fishery including bluegill, crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch, pumpkinseed, and rock bass. In addition to paddling and fishing, Pierz Lake is popular for water skiing, jet skiing, and swimming during summer months. The west-side access also provides shore fishing opportunities. Nearby paddlers may be interested in exploring the Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, a significant wetland complex in the area.
