Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area

The Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area provides boat ramp access to Hamilton Lake and several other popular water bodies in northeastern Indiana's Steuben County. Electric motors are permitted on the lakes and ponds throughout the property.

**Facilities & Practical Information:** Parking is available in designated lots near the boat ramps. Basic amenities include pit toilets at the park headquarters and Curtis Creek Trout Rearing Station. The nearest gas and supplies can be found at a convenience station in nearby Mongo, Indiana. Be aware that there are no paved trails or developed road access within the wildlife area, so expect a more primitive experience.
