About This Access Site
The Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area provides boat ramp access to Cree Lake near Kendallville in Noble County. This 12,134-acre protected area is well-equipped for paddlers and boaters, with multiple boat ramps located throughout the property. Electric motors are permitted on lakes and ponds within the area.

**Paddling Notes:** Kayaking and canoeing are allowed on Cree Lake, though access may be restricted during waterfowl season—contact the local DNR office for current seasonal restrictions. Swimming is not permitted. The area also offers fishing, hiking, picnic facilities, and additional access points along the 17-mile Pigeon River corridor nearby, including Martin Memorial Marsh on Shallow Lake (County Road W 300 N west of SR 327).
