About This Access Site
Located 5 miles north of Pennington off State Highway 39 (Scenic Highway), the Pimushe Lake access provides a U.S. Forest Service public boat ramp on the east shore of this 1,230-acre lake. The facility features a concrete launch ramp and parking for 8 vehicles. There are no launch fees at this access point.

Pimushe Lake is a scenic, narrow water body known for its undeveloped shoreline, numerous bays, and islands. The lake attracts paddlers and anglers seeking a quiet paddling experience with minimal boat traffic and jet ski activity. Wildlife viewing opportunities are excellent, with loons and bald eagles commonly seen on the lake. Anglers can pursue walleye, pike, bluegill, crappie, and largemouth bass among the lake's varied structure.
