Located in Wellsville, York County, this access point on the 340-acre Pinchot Lake provides convenient parking and launching facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. A large gravel parking area is situated off Alpine Road, just south of PA Route 177. The lake offers 24-hour access across three launch areas, making it suitable for both day trips and extended paddling adventures.
Overnight mooring options are available through the park's campground, with 286 shoreline mooring and canoe rack spaces available for rent from April 1st through November 1st. Note that motorized boating is restricted to electric motors only. The calm, scenic lake environment is ideal for paddlers of all skill levels, and the park offers additional amenities including a swim beach, hiking trails, and other recreational facilities that make it a well-rounded destination for a full day of water and land-based activities.
