Pine Creek Cove

Pine Creek Cove offers convenient access to Pine Creek Lake, a 3,750-acre reservoir on the Little River in southeastern Oklahoma near the Ouachita Mountains. The ramp is located on the western shore near the main dam, making it an ideal launch point for reaching prime fishing and boating areas throughout the lake's 74 miles of shoreline. The facility is part of a developed campground with 41 campsites (many with electric hookups), making it suitable for extended paddling trips.

The site provides excellent amenities for boaters and paddlers, including flush toilets, showers, a dump station, and parking. The lake itself is well-suited for recreational boating and fishing, with abundant crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish, and other species. Nearby, the Little River is floatable by canoe and offers quality smallmouth bass and sunfish fishing. To reach Pine Creek Cove from Valliant, OK, travel north on Pine Creek Road for 7 miles and follow signs to the campground. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov at 580-933-4215.
