Pine Lake

Pine Lake in Star Prairie offers a well-maintained public boat launch suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The facility features a paved boat ramp with dock access, making it convenient for launching and retrieving watercraft. Parking is available with designated spaces for boat trailers and vehicles, and the ramp is handicapped accessible for those with mobility needs.

The launch operates seasonally with extended hours during fishing season openings, and the parking area is plowed during winter months for ice fishing access. A picnic area is available on-site for visitors. Note that the facility uses an automated I-LIDS camera system to monitor boat traffic, so be prepared for documentation of your launch and exit.

The lake is situated near the St. Croix Wetland Management District, offering opportunities to explore scenic wetland and grassland areas. Before heading out, check local conditions and be aware of any aquatic invasive species (AIS) protocols that may be in effect.
