About This Access Site
Pine Tree Cove Resort offers a private boat ramp on Kabetogama Lake, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this expansive northern Minnesota lake. The resort features a well-maintained ramp along with a protected dock system with electricity and breakwater protection, ideal for securing your vessel. Additional amenities include canoe and kayak rentals available on-site, a fish-cleaning station, and high-speed internet access.

This access point provides easy entry to Kabetogama Lake, one of the major water bodies in the Voyageurs National Park region. Paddlers can explore scenic lake passages, interconnected waterways, and access to the broader park system. Note that Pine Tree Cove Resort is a private facility, so you may want to contact them in advance regarding launch fees, hours of operation, and current availability. For additional free public access and visitor information about the area, the nearby Rainy Lake Visitor Center (11 miles east on Highway 11 from International Falls) offers exhibits and a public boat launch.
