Piney Shores Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Lake Conroe on the West Fork San Jacinto River in the Conroe area. This facility features two concrete boat ramps, each 18 feet wide, accommodating all types of watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and larger motorboats. The site includes a paved parking area with capacity for approximately 30 vehicles, making it suitable for day trips and group outings.
Located on the southeast side of Lake Conroe, this ramp is maintained by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. The facility is easily accessible from Conroe via FM 830 heading west for about 5 miles to the end of the road. As a lake access point, paddlers will find calm, sheltered water ideal for recreational kayaking and canoeing, with opportunities to explore the broader lake system.
