Pioneer Marina

Pioneer Marina is a well-developed boat launch facility located on the north shore of Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, offering excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp features 6 launch lanes with ample parking for vehicles and trailers, making it convenient for launching multiple boats. The facility includes restrooms, bench seating along the harbor and lake, and access to winter ice fishing opportunities on Lake Winnebago.

As one of the largest marinas on Lake Winnebago, Pioneer Marina serves as a gateway to the lake and connected waterways including the Fox River, Lake Butte des Morts, Lake Winneconne, and Lake Poygan. The centrally located facility at the mouth of the Fox River accommodates all vessel types and offers additional services such as gas, pump-out facilities, showers, and transient slip rentals for boaters staying longer. The marina's 25-ton travel lift and support services make it a comprehensive boating hub, though paddlers should note it primarily caters to motorboats and larger vessels alongside canoes and kayaks.
