Plymouth Harbor is one of Massachusetts' busiest public launch facilities, featuring two dedicated launch lanes and over 100 parking spaces. The ramp is accessible at all tides, making it convenient for paddlers and boaters with flexible schedules. The site provides access to a deep-water channel that extends past Plymouth Long Beach toward Cape Cod Bay, offering excellent paddling opportunities for kayakers and canoeists seeking open water exploration.
**Parking & Access:** This is a boat launch-only facility—parking is reserved for vehicles towing boats (trailers and car-top carriers). A ticket machine is located next to the launch ramp for payment. If you plan to walk the jetty or explore the area on foot, parking is available just outside the ramp entrance on either side of the sewer plant. Note that season passes run on a calendar-year basis (January 1–December 31).
Plymouth Harbor's busy reputation and reliable tidal access make it an excellent choice for launching into Cape Cod Bay, though paddlers should expect moderate crowds, especially during peak seasons. The proximity to Massasoit National Wildlife Refuge offers additional paddling and nature exploration opportunities in the surrounding area.
