Port of Salisbury Marina

The Port of Salisbury Marina offers boat ramp access to the Wicomico River in downtown Salisbury, conveniently located at the headwaters of the river in the heart of the city. The facility includes a public boat ramp, paved parking, and fuel services. A floating boat dock is currently in development to provide additional launch options. For easy navigation, access the marina by crossing the Wicomico River bridge in downtown Salisbury, then turn right onto Mill Street, right again at the circle onto Riverside Drive, and right into the parking lot for the Riverside Boat Ramp.

For paddlers seeking soft launches exclusively for kayaks and canoes, several alternative access points are available nearby, including a sand launch area at Clara Road (just past the Red Roost in Tyaskin) with parking for about three boat trailers. The Port of Salisbury Marina also offers slip rentals for those seeking longer-term access and convenience amenities including courtesy vehicle and golf cart rentals. The Wicomico River at this location provides a calm, protected paddling environment suitable for recreational boating and paddling.
