**Access & Facilities**
Promontory Point offers two 2-lane concrete boat ramps with lighting, making it a reliable access point for Proctor Lake. The facility includes ample parking capacity (approximately 50 vehicles total across multiple parking areas) and is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. To reach the ramp from Comanche, take Highway 16 north for 12 miles to Downing, then turn right on FM 2318 and continue 5 miles to the park entrance. For reservations or specific information, contact 254-893-7545.
