The New Bowers boat ramp provides convenient access to Pymatuning Reservoir, one of northeastern Ohio's largest recreational lakes at 17,088 acres. This launch point on the western shore has recently been upgraded with improved ramp facilities, making it a reliable access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The site is located in Andover, Ashtabula County, making it easily accessible for paddlers in the region.

Pymatuning Reservoir is a popular destination for multiple water activities with a 10-horsepower motor limit in effect. The massive lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for various species and plenty of open water for paddling. Additional amenities and access points are available around the lake's shoreline, including ADA-accessible launches at Jamestown Marina and Manning Boat Launch if you need alternative options. The nearby Pymatuning State Park swimming beach area includes facilities like bathhouses and showers for visitor convenience.
