About This Access Site
The North Livery access site provides convenient boat launch access to Pymatuning Reservoir, a large 14,000-17,000 acre impoundment in northwest Ohio. This location in Andover is one of five boat ramps positioned around the reservoir, making it a reliable access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. A 10 horsepower motor limit is in effect on the water.

The area offers good amenities and recreational opportunities nearby. Boat rental concessions are available around the lake, and the Pymatuning State Park Swimming Beach is located south of the causeway with facilities including a bathhouse and showers. The reservoir is known as one of the best fishing lakes in the region, with opportunities to catch walleye, muskellunge, carp, crappie, perch, bluegill, and various bass species.

For those seeking ADA-accessible facilities, the Jamestown Marina and Manning Boat Launch offer ADA-compliant launch options. The area supports both paddling and fishing activities, with shore fishing, boat fishing, and seasonal ice fishing all popular on Pymatuning Reservoir.
